The Life of Chuck is a warm, whimsical, and genre-defying story about our place in the universe and everything that makes life meaningful. The story is based on a book by Stephen King and directed by Mike Flanagan.

Charles “Chuck” Krantz (Tom Hiddleston) grows up with his kind grandparents (Mark Hamill and Mia Sara). In their safe home, there is one room that is always locked. Chuck constantly wonders about the secrets behind the locked door — is there perhaps more in there than just a weak floor?

Together with Chuck, we experience the joys and sorrows of life, especially his love for dance, inherited from his beloved grandmother. Among the many people Chuck's life touches — without him even realizing it — are the teacher Marty (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and the nurse Felicia (Karen Gillan).
