Welcome to our Monday film on 28 November: Preview of the winner of Best Nordic Film at Oslo Pix.
12 DARES (12 BRAGDER) is a raw, energetic and playful film that takes you inside a boy gang. It's about loyalty and the choices you make at a young age. Much of the film is based on director and screenwriter Izer Aliu own experiences. This is his second feature film, after the award-winning FLUEFANGEREN (2016) which won Amanda for best director. Aliu was most recently featured in the NRK series JORDBRUKERNE.

12 DARES (12 BRAGDER)
12 DARES is the story of Food who lives in the Swedish suburb of Södra Ryd, outside Skövde, and he loves the gang he is in. In Food's world people are proud of their crimes, cultivate masculinity through violent games and demand loyalty from those around them . When Food fails the gang's leader Salle in a fight, Food is ostracized. The only way he can regain his place is to pass a test of manhood, where he must perform 12 dares, determined by the other boys in the gang.
