Four men, two women and a cat in a spaceship meet a great challenge when they're visited by a stowaway from outer space. The alien doesn't only have bad manners and a terrifying look, but also an appetite only satisfied by eating the crew one by one. That the titular character in Alien is able to eat himself big and strong off the space ships crew is in part due to the ships scientists who is more interested in the monsters potential for scientific research than any interplanetary working environment act. In much the same way as Blade Runner whcih was released a few years later, director Ridley Scott puts forward a strong pessimism and scepticism on behalf of advancement.

Outdoor cinema tips:
Watching a movie under the open sky is a unique experience, but it's important to take some precautions to prevent getting cold!
- Always check the forecast and dress accordingly. Remember, it can get extra cold when sitting still, so bringing extra layers is a good idea.
- It can be nice to bring something to sit on to keep warm. Maybe a blanket or a seating pad?
- An insider-tips is also to bring a sleeping bag to pull over your legs if it gets extra cold!
The screening is supported by NFI.
