The Quiet One is a documentary based on Bill Wyman’s private archive. Ever since his childhood years in wartime London, he’s been a notorious collector. Wyman sits on an enormous amount of photo, film, and sound material, as well as instruments and merch from his life as a former founder member and bassist in the greatest rock band of all times: The Rolling Stones. Going through the collection, he reflects on his early years with the Stones, and how the road to fame has been.
The material is fascinating and extensive, as illustrated by Keith Richards’ words: if he’s forgotten something from the past, Wyman is the guy to call.
The screening will be introduced by Sissel Guttormsen, Museum Director at Rockheim - the National Museum of Popular Music in Norway.
