Shock Troops was Costa-Gavras' second feature, and it brings with it the energy and dynamics of the debut The Sleeping Car Murder, but it also borrows genre traits from westerns and thrillers. Featuring lots of intense action sequences and experimenting, dynamic images, this captivating and interesting war movie deserves its rightful recognition.
