Nasi Padang is the wild story about Audun Kvitland, a sound designer from Trondheim who became an internet phenomenon and national celebrity in Indonesia after making a song celebrating the traditional dish nasi padang.
Having arrived from a holiday in Indonesia, Kvitland missed the Indonesian dish so badly that he felt the need to express his love in a song, which he then uploaded on Youtube. Waking up the morning after, he’d received about 5-600 messages, and his video had been shared thousands of times on Facebook. From there, things got even crazier.
Audun Kvitland Røstad will be present at the premiere screening Wednesday 17.00.
