The somewhat miserable Georges buys a ridiculously expensive deerskin jacket and checks into a French small-town motel. Here he spends his days admiring the jacket and pretending to be a filmmaker for a crew stranded in Siberia. As Georges begins to talk to his jacket and you think the movie's reached its comical highlight, this hysterical, dark comedy takes an even more absurd turn.

Deerskin offers a dark and comic perspective on masculinity and vanity from Quentin Dupieux, the director that has previously given us Rubber (2010), a notorious film about a tire on a murderous rampage.
