Two teenage siblings are driving through the Caribbean when they accidentally hit a goat. The family car is wrecked, and as if that isn’t enough – the crash unleashes bad juju upon them!
Together, the siblings embark on a journey around the island to repair the car without their parents knowing, while trying to fix their bad juju as well. Bad Lucky Goat is a charming roadmovie filled with Caribbean culture and a broad ensemble of colorful characters. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, director Samir Oliveros collected 60 000 dollars to finance his feature film debut. The film was shot at the island Old Provence in the Columbian part of the Caribbean. Due to its location, the island hasn’t had any large development projects in later years, and its «lost in time» feel gives Bad Lucky Goat an unique touch.
