Spontan wine bar and Kosmorama invite you to a remarkable fusion evening - Indian meets classic French in Fjordgata! We are screening the film THE HUNDRED-FOOT JOURNEY (2014) together with a seven-course menu.
The staff at Spontan have spent a lot of time in France, and the wine list is well planted in the major French regions, which you will notice this evening. The choice of this particular film also came naturally to us, as one of the chefs at Spontan has Indian origins. This will therefore be an experience where both Spontan and the guests can see, in a genuine way, how to build a culinary bridge between these countries. We are very much looking forward to it!
The film screening will take place at Spontan with food during and after the film screening. The menu will consist of three snacks, three slightly larger dishes and one dessert.
About the film:
Young Hassan Kadam has always loved cooking. After fleeing political unrest in Mumbai, the Kadam family arrives in a small French village and decides to open an Indian restaurant. Problems arise when they move in directly across the street from the Michelin restaurant of the snobbish Madame Mallory, which creates an immediate conflict. Can the two restaurant owners be reconciled through their shared passion for cooking? THE HUNDRED-FOOT JOURNEY is a story of family, fear, and love of food.

We encourage you to buy tickets with those you want to go with, so that you can be seated at the same table. Contact us at admin@kosmorama.no if you have bought the tickets separately. The doors open at 17:00, and the film starts at 18:00. The wine bar is also open from 15.00 before the event.
