Welcome to culinary cinema at Credo restaurant, with a screening of the documentary Wasted! The Story of Food Waste (2017) thursdag March 8th.
A third of all food grown in the world is thrown away and never finds its way to a plate. Wasted, The Story of Food Waste shows how we can change our habits, in relation to how we shop, cook, recycle and eat food. The film generates a discussion about how food wastage affects the climate change and hunger on a worldwide scale. Everyone can make a difference. Through the eyes of famous chefs like Anthony Bourdain, Dan Barber, Mario Batali, Massimo Bottura and Danny Bowien, the audience will get to see how the most influential chefs in the world can make the most of all kinds of food. Food that most people perceive as garbage and waste is transformed into amazing dishes.
The event takes place at Credo's new restaurant at Ladeveien 9. During the screening of perharps the most important food-film of 2017, the restaurant will show you how you can reduce food-waste and make amazing food at the same time.
In line with the philosophy the practice every day, Credo serves appetizers made by what others might throw away. This evening you can experience thought provoking entertainment, a clean concience and great food, all at the same time.
There are two screenings of the film at Credo Thursday March 8th. The first screening starts at 5pm, and the second screening starts at 8.30pm.
